Bulgarian Split Squat

One of my favourite leg strenthening exercises of all time focussed on GLUTES & HAMSTRINGS with a whole lotta balance too...

BENEFITS OF BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUATS:


- Strengthens all major muscles in legs

- Helps improve your balance

- Targets 1 leg at a time


Try them on your sofa at home without any weights to begin with and build up to holding weights as soon as you can do 6-8 reps comfortably on each leg.

Also note, there are some different variations of this exercise you can try with different foot placements and/or torso angles to target different muscles more but start with this version and if you get the bug for more we can talk in more detail later.
