Can fruit really make you fat?


My face when I hear someone say that fruit makes you fat 🍐😒🤦🏻‍♂️


Ridiculous!


How many people have you met that got overweight because they ate too many satsumas?


To be fair I love satsumas this time of year, so I reckon I’ve got as good a chance as any of being the first :/


Anyway…


The truth is IF YOU EAT TOO MUCH OF ANY FOOD CONSISTENTLY FOR SUSTAINED PERIOD OF TIME YOU WILL PUT ON WEIGHT.


But you know that.


You’re not silly.


Here’s a fun fact for you…


I’d need to eat 15 pears to equal the same calories as a large Hawaiian pizza at Dominos.


2 points to consider here.


1: I love a good pear (oi oi) but eating 15 would be a stretch even for me.


2: Yes I like pineapple on my pizza.


So in conclusion let’s all agree that fruit is good. As is pizza (in moderation), and if anyone suggests ANY singular food makes you fat then tell them to do one. It’s false!


Understanding how much you eat and educating yourself on making better choices is the key to sustainable fat loss.


Keep eating nice things.


Just be aware of how much.
