Iām absolutely buzzing to be back at Run Reigate 2025, one of Surreyās biggest and best running events of the year!

After hosting a warm-up session last year that brought the energy and good vibes to Priory Park, Iāve been invited back to lead a session as part of their FREE Run Club to help you get race-ready for the big day.
Whether you're tackling the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or cheering on the little ones in the Kids Race, this is your chance to train with a supportive, inclusive crew. Thereās no pressure, no pace shamingājust fun and community spirit.
What is Run Reigate?
If you're new to the event, Run Reigate is a hugely popular running festival held every September in Reigateās beautiful Priory Park. With distances for all ages and abilitiesāincluding a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and a Kids Raceāitās more than just a run. It's a celebration of movement, community, and local pride.
The Excitement of Running Together
Running is not just about the distance. Itās about the journey. The thrill of training, the joy of community, and the satisfaction of crossing that finish line. At Run Reigate, youāll find all of this and more.
Join us to experience the camaraderie that comes from running alongside others. You'll meet new friends, share stories, and motivate each other. This is what makes the event so special.
How to Join the Free Run Club
No booking is required; just turn up at Priory Park (in front of Priory School) and join us every Thursday at 7 PM. You'll get a different coach every week, providing plenty of chances to add fun and variety to your training. My session is on 7th August 2025 and will include Dad Dancing Free Of Charge, obviously lol...

Preparing for Race Day
As race day approaches, it's essential to prepare both physically and mentally. Here are some tips to help you get ready:
Set Realistic Goals
Before you start training, set achievable goals. Whether you want to finish the race or achieve a personal best, having a clear goal will keep you motivated.
Create a Training Plan
A structured training plan can help you stay on track. Include a mix of long runs, speed work, and rest days. This balance will prepare your body for race day.
Stay Hydrated and Eat Well
Nutrition plays a crucial role in your performance. Stay hydrated and focus on a balanced diet rich in carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats.
Listen to Your Body
Pay attention to how your body feels during training. If you experience pain or discomfort, take a break. Itās better to rest than to risk injury.
Letās Make Run Reigate 2025 the Best Yet!
This is more than just a race; itās a chance to move, connect, and feel amazing in your body. Iād love to support you on this journey.
Letās run this together šŖ
